Apply for Grants

The first place to start your research into grants is the US Government website www.grants.gov. There are over 20,000 grant sources, so you will have your work cut out for you.

There is a huge amount of information to be found on the site. Not only can you find out about about the various sources of Grants funding but you can also discover which Grants to apply for. You can make applications at the site and monitor them.

Most people don't get that far because it is too difficult; there is too much information to go through and people don't have the time or understanding. Also the US web site is slow and complex; it takes patience.

It can be most disheartening after an hour or two into the process, and it is easy to understand why most people give up.
